We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in the manufacturing industry, located in York, South Carolina. The role involves supporting our operations and accounting teams by maintaining good standings with key suppliers through payment facilitation, precise data entry, and reliable follow-through.

Responsibilities:
• Facilitate payments to maintain good standings with key suppliers.
• Perform accurate data entry in a timely manner.
• Ensure adherence to the three-way matching principle in invoice processing.
• Collaborate with various teams to resolve any discrepancies in invoices.
• Properly maintain records in accordance with the retention policy.
• Prepare journal entries and conduct account reconciliations.
• Promote a continuous improvement mindset within the team.
• Comply with all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the work area, adhering to 5S standards.
• Undertake any additional duties as assigned.

• Proficiency in Account Coding is necessary
• Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems is required
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is a must
• Knowledge of Concur is expected
• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is important
• Strong ability to perform Accounting Functions is needed
• Extensive experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is required
• Understanding of Accrual Accounting is essential
• Auditing skills are necessary
• Experience with Automated Clearing House (ACH) is important
• Proficiency in Oracle ERP is expected
