We are in search of a Bookkeeper to join our team in WHEATON, Illinois. This role centers around maintaining financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. The position offers a long term contract employment opportunity. As a Bookkeeper, your main task will be to manage all aspects of accounting, from account reconciliation to data entry.
This job is parttime and on-site at 20-hours per week.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage accounts payable and receivable
• Perform account reconciliation activities
• Handle bank reconciliations to ensure financial transparency
• Employ QuickBooks for financial management and reporting
• Execute data entry tasks with precision and accuracy
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and data management
• Manage the month-end close process to ensure timely financial reporting
• Oversee payroll activities to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time
• Maintain bookkeeping practices to support financial health of the organization.

The salary range for this position is $20.00 to $25.00 per hour. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance. • Possess proficiency in Account Reconciliation to ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled
• Have hands-on experience with Accounts Payable (AP) to manage all outgoing payments and expenses
• Be adept at managing Accounts Receivable (AR) to keep track of all incoming payments
• Demonstrate expertise in Bank Reconciliations to confirm the company’s financial records align with bank statements
• Have substantial knowledge in Bookkeeping to maintain and organize all financial data
• Possess strong Data Entry skills for accurate recording and updating of financial information
• Be proficient in using Microsoft Excel for financial reporting, data analysis, and record keeping
• Have experience with Month End Close procedures to ensure all financial data is accurately reported at the end of each month
• Be capable of handling Payroll to ensure all employees are paid accurately and on time
• Have proficiency in using QuickBooks for managing and organizing financial data and transactions
