We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Divisional/Plant Controller in West Columbia, South Carolina. This role will be a key player in our IT Software industry, ensuring the financial control processes and systems of our plant are compliant and effective.

Responsibilities:
• Ensuring conformance of accounting records with corporate-wide accounting policies.
• Accurate preparation of monthly closing data.
• Keeping an orderly accounting filing system in check.
• Reviewing accounting records for cost controls and performing reconciliations and analysis of manufacturing costs.
• Preparing and maintaining product cost calculations.
• Recommending benchmarks to measure the performance of company operations.
• Calculating and issuing financial and operating metrics.
• Developing consolidation record keeping and reconciling intercompany accounts.
• Preparing COGNOS reports to parent.
• Forecasting and budgeting for anticipated operations.
• Providing information for review of financial results with auditors or internal parties.
• Preparing for ICS audits and maintaining compliance.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the IT software industry
• Proven track record in managing Accounting Functions
• Expertise in using SAP HANA and SAP R/3
• Proficiency in Cognos for business intelligence and performance management
• Experience in Internal Reporting and Account Reconciliation
• Familiarity with Hub International software for insurance brokerage
• Knowledge in Inventory Accounting and Product Costing
• Ability to manage Cash Balance and Cash Flow
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) processes
