    We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Patient Services Representative in Waukesha, Wisconsin. As a Patient Services Representative, your main role will be to serve as the initial contact for patients in our outpatient department, ensuring a smooth and efficient process from registration to scheduling appointments.

    Responsibilities:

    • Greet, register, and guide patients, ensuring a positive initial experience in our outpatient department
    • Utilize office machinery and software, including multi-line phone systems, scanners, and Microsoft Office Suite, to facilitate patient interactions
    • Routinely respond to a high volume of calls and emails from various sources, including patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies
    • Maintain accurate and updated patient records, including demographic and insurance information, within our CRM and EHR systems
    • Coordinate scheduling of appointments, including handling any cancellations or rescheduling, to ensure efficient patient flow
    • Collect payments and update account information as necessary
    • Assist in visit closure procedures, including post-visit check-outs and scheduling of follow-up appointments
    • Address and resolve any issues regarding registration or scheduling, reporting any significant problems to the appropriate individuals and departments
    • Handle and process patient referrals to the Moraine Lakes Consortium
    • Retrieve, file, and deliver patient information and records, completing any required forms and documentation as needed.
    • Proven experience in answering inbound calls, adept at handling high volume call traffic.
    • Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
    • Proficiency in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to manage patient records.
    • Ability to schedule appointments effectively, ensuring optimal use of resources.
    • Experience in patient services, demonstrating empathy and understanding in all interactions.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites, particularly in Excel and Word.
    • Experience with both inbound and outbound calls, displaying excellent telephone etiquette.
    • Familiarity with EHR System, ensuring accurate and timely record keeping.
    • Knowledge of medical software, with the ability to quickly learn new systems.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with patients and medical staff.
