Responsibilities:

• Transactional Expertise: Provide expert legal counsel on a variety of real estate matters, including commercial and residential transactions, Single-Family Residential (SFR) projects, and bulk sales.
• Business Development: Proactively generate new business through networking, marketing, and community engagement efforts, with a focus on building and expanding a personal book of business.
• Transaction Management: Handle real estate transactions from inception to closing, ensuring all documentation is thorough, accurate, and compliant with legal standards.
• Client Representation: Represent clients during negotiations, disputes, and mediations, offering strategic advice and safeguarding their best interests.
• Collaboration: Partner closely with internal teams and departments to provide integrated and seamless client services.
• Legal Knowledge: Continuously stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in real estate law to enhance the client experience and firm strategy.

• Requirements:
• License to practice law in Rhode Island or the ability to waive into RI from MA/CT after hire
• Candidates licensed in Massachusetts or Connecticut will be considered, with the expectation of fulfilling Rhode Island licensure requirements (must complete essay portion if waiving in from MA to RI).
• Strong commitment to business generation and client relationship building
• Having an established book of business is preferred but not required—however, candidates must demonstrate a desire and ability to grow their book significantly
