Key Responsibilities:
Service Billing Operations:
- Prepare, review, and generate invoices for construction services, ensuring accurate job costing and billing details.
- Track and update project-related billing milestones to ensure timely payment processing.
- Resolve billing discrepancies by working with clients and project managers.
Financial Tracking:
- Monitor accounts receivable, including following up on outstanding invoices and assisting with payment collections.
- Maintain detailed records of contracts, invoices, and client payment histories in compliance with company policies.
Communication and Support:
- Act as the point of contact for customers regarding billing inquiries while maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as project managers and accountants, to streamline billing workflows.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 2+ years in billing or accounting, preferably within the construction industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in billing and accounting software (e.g., Sage 300, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
