Robert Half is working alongside another well-established construction company in Vista, CA, to hire an Entry-Level Accounts Receivable Specialist. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with generating invoices and sending them to customers on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Support the tracking and matching of payments to invoiced amounts in a timely manner.
- Review customer contracts to ensure that proper billing terms are applied.
- Follow up with clients on overdue accounts and establish regular follow-up processes.
- Work closely with senior accounts receivable staff to manage job-specific documentation.
- Perform routine filing and update accounts receivable records for auditing purposes.
- Provide support during reconciliations by ensuring that transaction records are complete and accurate.
- 1+ year of accounting or administrative experience; an internship or academic background in finance or accounting is acceptable for entry-level candidates.
- Educational background in accounting, finance, or a related field (associate degree or bachelor’s preferred).
- Basic understanding of accounts receivable concepts and ability to learn industry-specific software (training provided).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Positive, team-player attitude and willingness to take on new challenges.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
