Our client, in the non-profit industry, is in need for a Full-Charge Bookkeeper to join their team on a temp-to-hire basis! This is a great opportunity to continue in your experience, and working closely with their Controller and accounting team to drive business. This is a newly created role, as they've been experiencing growth, and will continue experiencing growth. As the Full-Charge Bookkeeper you will be taking on the full cycle accounting, payroll for about 50 employees, and working the month-end close.
Key responsibilities:
• Handle the full scope of bookkeeping
• Utilize QuickBooks Online for various accounting functions.
• Manage payroll for a small team of employees using QuickBooks Online.
• Employ computerized accounting systems and Microsoft Excel to maintain accurate financial records.
• Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable duties.
• Conduct annual budget planning and cash flow analysis.
• Ensure all accounting functions are executed accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain detailed and organized financial records.
• Resolve any financial inquiries and issues promptly.
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action when required.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
• Microsoft Excel.
• Demonstrable experience with Accounting Functions.
• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Experience with Annual Budget preparation and Cash Flow Analysis.
• Proficient in using QuickBooks Online.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
