    We are offering an exciting opportunity in the technology industry, situated in Troy, Michigan. We are seeking a Network Engineer to join our team in a dynamic and collaborative work environment. The role involves diagnosing and troubleshooting connectivity issues, managing Cisco routers, firewalls, and switches, and supporting network operations.

    Responsibilities:
    • Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving wired and wireless connectivity issues.
    • Configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers, firewalls, and switches.
    • Gaining experience with dynamic routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP).
    • Managing Cisco Wireless Access Points, Bridges, and Controllers.
    • Employing Cisco SD-WAN and vManage platform.
    • Utilizing Palo Alto Firewalls and Panorama platform.
    • Applying knowledge and experience with bulk management using tools such as Ansible, SolarWinds, Python, Cisco DNA / Catalyst Center.
    • Familiarizing yourself with SolarWinds and ServiceNow platforms.
    • Creating clear and detailed technical documents and procedures.
    • Growing professionally through outside and in-house training classes.
    • Traveling to remote locations as needed.
    • Communicating effectively and anticipating technological advances and innovations.
    • Understanding company operations and departmental procedures.
    • Deciphering project requests and researching for viable solutions.
    • Comprehensive understanding and practical experience with Cisco Technologies
    • Proficiency in working with Cisco ASA, Cisco Routers, Cisco ASA Firewall, and Cisco Hardware
    • Hold at least one of the following certifications: Cisco CCNA, Cisco CCNP, or any other relevant Cisco Certification
    • Expertise in managing and troubleshooting Cisco Networking and Cisco Wireless systems
    • Familiarity with Cisco Webex Meetings and Cisco WebEx for collaboration and communication purposes
    • Sound knowledge of Cisco Voice Over Internet (VoIP) and general VoIP protocols
    • Experience in working with VLAN configurations and operations
    • Understanding of ECM (Enterprise Content Management) systems
    • Proven experience with Meraki network management solutions
    • Ability to perform regular system checks, updates, and maintenance as required
    • Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot network issues effectively
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex network concepts to non-technical team members
    • Willingness to keep up-to-date with the latest network technologies and industry trends
    • Ability to work on-call, outside of regular office hours, if necessary.
