We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Cloud Engineer in the manufacturing industry based in Connecticut. 100% remote, resumes without Azure Cloud Engineer experience will not be considered.
In this role, you will be primarily handling customer applications, maintaining customer records, and managing customer inquiries. Additionally, you'll also monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently handle and process customer credit applications
• Keep customer credit records accurate and updated
• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and effective manner
• Monitor customer accounts regularly and take appropriate actions when necessary
• Develop and manage APIs
• Implement and manage AWS technologies
• Use Atlassian Jira for project management and tracking
• Use Ansible for configuration management tasks
• Utilize Amazon EC2 and Amazon CloudWatch for monitoring and management
• Manage and execute auto scaling and automation processes
• Apply backup technologies and cluster analysis techniques in day-to-day tasks.
• Proficiency in Amazon CloudWatch is necessary, as the candidate will be required to monitor and manage cloud resources.
• Experience with Amazon EC2 is crucial, as the Cloud Engineer will be responsible for providing scalable and secure virtual servers.
• Must have familiarity with Ansible for IT automation, including configuration management, application deployment, and task automation.
• Proficiency in Atlassian Jira is required for effective project management and issue tracking.
• Knowledge of Auto Scaling is essential, as the role involves managing applications and ensuring they can scale based on the conditions defined.
• Expertise in API Development is needed, as the candidate will be tasked with creating, maintaining, and securing APIs.
• Demonstrable experience with Automation is necessary, as the candidate will be expected to automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency.
• Must have a deep understanding of AWS Technologies, as the role revolves around designing and deploying applications on AWS platforms.
• Experience with Backup Technologies is vital, as the candidate will be tasked with ensuring data is safely stored and retrievably when necessary.
• Knowledge of Cluster Analysis is crucial, as the role involves examining data to find structures within.
