    Position Summary

    The Controller will manage financial and accounting functions, ensures that accounting procedures conform to GAAP, and that internal policies and controls are followed.


    Primary/Essential Responsibilities and Duties

    • Prepares and\or oversees the timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, annual, and periodic accounting and financial information including variance reports, budgets, financial statements, and forecasts
    • Ensures integrity of financial records by maintaining a strong internal control environment in compliance with GAAP
    • Prepares analyses for and acts as liaison with internal and external auditors
    • Manages month-end close process
    • Manages implementation of corporate accounting-related initiatives
    • Assists with the preparation of the annual operating budget
    • Evaluates and recommends changes to accounting and accounting-related policies, procedures, practices, and methods
    • Trains and supports staff in a variety of areas
    • Prepares ad hoc reports and works on special projects as requested



    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting, CPA preferred
    • 7+ years senior-level finance or accounting experience
    • Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles
    • Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems
    • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections
    • Working knowledge of short- and long-term budgeting and forecasting
