- We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to join our team in Tallahassee, Florida. In this role, you will oversee the management, optimization, and troubleshooting of various system environments, including Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS). This position offers a long-term contract opportunity, requiring a proactive and detail-oriented individual to ensure the seamless operation of critical infrastructure.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage and administer Microsoft Azure Entra ID, Active Directory, and Azure infrastructure security.<br>• Develop and implement processes to optimize server resources and cloud technologies, including AWS and Azure.<br>• Analyze system performance and recommend upgrades or changes to prevent resource contention.<br>• Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, and procedures for system operations.<br>• Collaborate with stakeholders, data center staff, and users to deploy resources, upgrades, and configuration changes.<br>• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Windows and Linux servers to minimize disruptions.<br>• Develop PowerShell scripts for server monitoring and Active Directory/Azure management.<br>• Research and propose technical solutions to meet organizational requirements and improve processes.<br>• Assist application owners and users in accessing Azure applications securely.<br>• Plan and schedule the development and implementation of software systems.
