We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Systems Architect in Tallahassee, Florida. This role is integral to our Information Technology department, focusing on the management and execution of cloud services and platforms to support our infrastructure, applications, data, and other business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Administer, test, and modify the virtual desktop infrastructure environment to ensure optimal performance.
• Lead the modernization and migration efforts for applications, data, and infrastructure.
• Manage and oversee Microsoft 365 environments to ensure seamless operations.
• Supervise other Microsoft platforms and environments, ensuring they align with our IT strategy.
• Oversee identity platforms, ensuring they meet our security and access needs.
• Manage a multi-cloud environment, ensuring optimal performance and cost-efficiency.
• Coordinate and direct multiple technology initiatives across various areas within the organization, including application development, data management & analytics, cybersecurity, and more.
• Build and manage relationships within a matrixed environment to foster collaboration and efficient operations.
• Deploy and manage Microsoft Azure and other cloud services to support our IT infrastructure.
• Identify opportunities for refactoring solutions to achieve better performance, cost, and efficiency.
• Enhance our infrastructure, application, and system monitoring solutions to prioritize system uptime.
• Automate processes wherever possible to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Create and manage Azure DevOps projects, git repositories, and pipelines for improved application development and deployment.
• Troubleshoot issues raised by developers and other architects, providing timely and effective solutions.

• Proficiency in Microsoft and Microsoft Azure applications and platforms
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and utilize data effectively
• Familiarity with compliance regulations and the ability to ensure adherence to them
• Experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration and understanding of Benefit Functions
• Demonstrated ability in design, engineering, and application development
• Knowledge of security protocols, including Cyber Security measures
• Experience with Cloud Technologies, including AWS Technologies
• Capable of managing system upgrades and migration processes
• Ability to provide oversight and make key decisions on enterprise-wide initiatives
• Proficiency in using GIT for version control and repository management
• Strong skills in Data Management and the ability to use Automation Test tools
• Ability to manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels
• Experience with refactoring and enhancing existing systems
• Understanding of Transportation Services industry would be beneficial
• Proven track record of managing and delivering large scale projects.
