An award-winning law firm in the Pacific Northwest is searching for a Complex Litigation Paralegal in Seattle or Portland. This role involves working on a variety of complex litigation cases, including consumer and product liability class actions, financial fraud and securities litigation. The Paralegal will be responsible for research, writing, cite-checking, and handling e-discovery software to play a key role in our legal team.
Responsibilities:
• Conducting extensive research on various complex litigation cases
• Writing legal documents and preparing case materials
• Cite-checking legal documents using The Bluebook, Westlaw, and Lexis+
• Utilizing e-discovery software, specifically Relativity, in the preparation and review of case materials
• Coordinating reviews of large document productions
• Leading projects from inception through delivery, including managing resource requirements, workflows, and competing deadlines
• Serving as primary contact throughout a project, including leading meetings and resolving issues
• Collaborating on the delivery of complex projects that integrate multiple resources
• Building rapport with colleagues, co-counsel, and clients and providing a high level of internal customer service
• Responding effectively to urgent situations that require a quick turnaround.
