    We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior PHP Developer. As part of our team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing and maintaining our Ecommerce Websites, working closely with other developers, business analysts, and customers throughout the software development lifecycle. This role will also involve off-hours support for our systems and potential opportunities for mentoring or onboarding other development resources.


    Responsibilities:


    • Collaborate with business analysts to finalize design documents.

    • Participate in the development and optimization of the code migration process.

    • Work hand-in-hand with ERP, IT operations, and other IT teams to assure system reliability and optimal performance.

    • Conduct comprehensive code reviews and ensure adherence to Quality Assurance processes.

    • Maintain system stability during and outside of regular business hours.

    • Develop and implement complex changes and enhancements to our B2B websites, adhering to software standards and conventions.

    • Review and deploy 3rd party hotfixes and upgrades, ensuring system stability.

    • Recommend and implement process improvements and best practices within the development team.

    • Assure accurate data quality in relation to data migration, conversion, and loading processes, following Data Governance standards.

    • Collaborate with external resources supporting ecommerce sites on complex changes, as needed.

    • Minimum of 5 years experience working as a PHP developer

    • Proven experience with the Laravel PHP framework

    • Proficiency in JavaScript, including familiarity with Vue.js and React

    • Experience in Agile Scrum methodology

    • Strong knowledge and understanding of API development

    • Ability to troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases

    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

    • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team

    • Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience

    • Commitment to continuous detail oriented development and learning new technologies

    • Proven ability to manage a diverse workload and meet deadlines.
