Robert Half is supporting a reputable long-term care facility in their search for a Medical Billing Specialist. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team focused on providing exceptional care to residents while managing billing operations effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and submit medical claims to insurance companies and other payers
- Verify insurance information and patient details for accuracy
- Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve any billing discrepancies
- Maintain accurate billing records and patient accounts
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare billing regulations and guidelines
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate billing processes
Previous experience in medical billing, ideally within a long-term care or healthcare setting
Strong knowledge of insurance processes, billing codes, and healthcare regulations
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Strong communication skills for interacting with insurance companies, residents, and healthcare teams
Proficient in medical billing software and Microsoft Office Suite
