We are seeking a part-time, Full Charge Bookkeeper to support our growing business.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing day-to-day accounting functions and will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth financial operations.
This is an in-office, part-time position requiring approximately 20-25 hours per week. You will have the flexibility to create a consistent schedule that works best for you, within our operating hours (M-F).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and perform bank reconciliations for multiple accounts
- Handle Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P)
- Process and manage payroll accurately and timely
- Oversee multi-state tax filings and ensure compliance with state and federal requirements
- Maintain general ledger and assist with month-end closing processes
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Support the development of expense management strategies
SALARY RANGE: $26.00 - $27.00 per hour DOE
BENEFITS: This is a part-time position and does not currently offer any additional benefits at this time
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a full charge bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
- Strong understanding of bank reconciliations, A/R, A/P, and payroll processes
- Experience with multi-state tax filings and regulatory compliance
- Proficiency in QuickBooks (experience with QuickBooks Desktop and/or QuickBooks Online is required)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Experience in budgeting and forecasting to assist with cash flow and expense management a plus!
