We are offering an opportunity for a Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team in Somerset, New Jersey. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and implementing various HR programs and policies. The job function involves ensuring the smooth operation of the HR Department and aligning HR strategies with the organization's business goals.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee HR functions including staffing, compensation, benefits, immigration, employee relations, training, compliance, and health & safety
• Develop and manage company leave policy in accordance with Federal and State laws
• Process all disability and workers compensation claims promptly as per Federal and State laws
• Coordinate return-to-work plans for employees after injury or illness
• Audit employee leave balances to ensure proper accrual and make necessary adjustments
• Conduct annual review of compensation plan
• Onboard new hires and provide relevant training
• Coordinate immigration visas for new hires as needed
• Keep track of HR issues and ensure compliance
• Audit payrolls to maintain accuracy and compliance.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Human Resources role
• Demonstrated proficiency in Human Capital Management (HCM)
• Proven experience with benefit functions including insurance and retirement plans
• Strong understanding of compliance regulations and ability to ensure company adherence
• Solid background in managing employee relations and conflict resolution
• Familiarity with hiring processes from job posting to onboarding
• Experience in managing employment-based immigration procedures and policies
• Proven ability to conduct thorough and fair employee relations investigations
• Experience in managing and implementing successful onboarding programs
• Proficiency in leave administration including vacation, sick leave, and maternity/paternity leave.
