We are offering a contract opportunity in the field for a Project/Program Manager II based in Seattle, Washington. The chosen candidate will be primarily responsible for the coordination and execution of projects and programs, including all associated tasks from setting deadlines to reporting on progress. This role operates within a dynamic workplace environment and offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the entire lifecycle of project and program management, ensuring timely completion.
• Assign duties and responsibilities to team members, ensuring efficient progress of projects.
• Monitor project progress, make necessary adjustments, and provide regular updates.
• Prepare comprehensive reports detailing project status for senior management.
• Use extensive field experience and judgment to plan and achieve project goals.
• Exhibit creativity and latitude in managing a variety of tasks within the project/program scope.
• Lead and direct the work of others to ensure project success.
• Utilize effective communication and reporting skills to maintain transparency throughout the project.
• Apply expertise in data analysis to derive insights and present findings effectively.
• Demonstrate leadership by motivating cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey information across all levels of the organization
• Proven proficiency in reporting and preparing detailed project progress reports
• Solid understanding of operations and project management principles
• Demonstrated ability in strategic planning and implementing strategies to achieve project goals
• Familiarity with standard procedures, best practices, and compliance functions in project management
• Leadership skills to guide project teams towards successful project completion
• Knowledge of engineering practices and principles
• Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to drive project decisions
• Experience with Agile Scrum framework and tools like JIRA for project management
• Strong technical acumen to understand and address technical issues related to the project
• A degree in Computer Sciences or a related field
• Excellent coordination skills to ensure smooth execution of project tasks
• Creativity in problem-solving and strategizing for project success
• An MBA would be a plus
• Experience in vendor relations to manage external resources effectively
