    A small real estate development company is seeking an In-House Counsel to support their contracts review and compliance needs. They operate nationally on a fully remote basis, with employees in all U.S. time zones. The role reports to the CFO and CEO and oversees two compliance paralegals.


    The salary range for the role is flexible but estimated between 180-210k DOE with an additional yearly bonus. They offer a full benefits package, including medical, dental, vision and life insurance, 401k with 4% match, 3-4 weeks PTO/sick leave, 7 paid holidays, paid CLE and bar dues and other perks. 

    Requirements:

    - 4-8 years experience as an attorney with focused experience advising on risk/compliance in a highly regulated industry

    - Experience reviewing simple vendor or sales contracts

    - Capable and ready to work as the solo attorney on their small legal team, with support from outside counsel

    - Previous experience overseeing legal support or holding a leadership role

    - Juris doctor with strong academic credentials

    - Actively barred in any state, in good standing

    - Strong legal writing skills

    - Experience in securities law
