We are in need of a meticulous HR Project Manager to join our team in the non-profit industry, located in Seattle, Washington. The HR Project Manager will take charge of overseeing special projects that support our Accounting and People + Culture teams. This role involves leading tasks such as the research, selection, and implementation of new systems such as a Human Capital Management System, and managing solutions for HRIS/Payroll.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee all stages of project management, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Act as the designated representative for internal stakeholders and external vendor teams.
• Execute research, selection, and implementation of systems for HRIS/Payroll.
• Facilitate meetings with internal and external stakeholders and delegate tasks accordingly.
• Manage a Project Management system to ensure smooth operations.
• Deliver monthly reports to the senior leadership team on project progress.
• Conduct 30/60 day audits of any implemented systems to consider the project closed.
• Develop training modules for internal staff, to be approved by Accounting/People + Culture leads.
• Create instructional videos for staff learning library.
• Manage individual project budgets for assigned projects.
• Participate in monthly reviews of budget variances, research, and resolve any issues.
• Collaborate with the Accounting/People + Culture teams to forecast expenditures for projects.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in the non-profit sector.
• Proven expertise in managing Core HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management.
• Demonstrated proficiency in benefit functions, including administration of health, life, and retirement plans.
• Extensive experience in budget processes, with a focus on cost-effectiveness and financial sustainability.
• Strong familiarity and hands-on experience with HRIS platforms such as UKG Pro, UKG Ready, and Paylocity.
• Experience in HRIS Conversion and HRIS Implementation is a key requirement for this role.
• Proficiency in HRIS Payroll System is essential for effective payroll management and operations.
• Ability to generate comprehensive HRIS reports, providing key insights into workforce data and trends.
• Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully leading HR initiatives and projects.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
