In this role, you will have the responsibility of providing strategic planning support and leadership for our Business and Financial Services unit. You will be working collaboratively with other team members to meet the mission and strategic goals of our unit.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee student billing and collections, campus credit card merchant processing, and cash handling controls.
    • Manage petty cash programs and departmental bank deposit processing.
    • Supervise electronic payment processing and payment processing for students and other miscellaneous transactions.
    • Responsible for the effective operation of systems for student receivables, cashiering, and non-student receivables.
    • Ensure campus PCI credit card security compliance program is upheld.
    • Coordinate campus financial internal controls to ensure compliance with federal, state, and system-wide policy and regulations in areas of oversight.
    • Represent our organization in system-wide and campus-wide meetings and discussions.
    • Act as the final decision maker in areas where errors can have a serious impact on the overall success of the unit or the campus.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required for managing financial data and creating reports.

    • Strong understanding of general accounting functions to ensure accurate financial operations.

    • Ability to perform account reconciliation to maintain and verify the accuracy of financial data.

    • Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential for managing incoming payments and resolving any discrepancies.

    • Education industry preferred

    • Knowledge of treasury operations is needed for handling company funds, investments, and risk management.
