Job Posting: Finance & Operations Associate – Asset Management Firm
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: San Mateo; 5 days in office
Salary: $110-150k (DOE) + Bonus

We are partnering with a well-established asset management firm seeking a Finance & Operations Associate to support various financial and administrative functions. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in accounting, payroll, and financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Serve as a vendor liaison, coordinating with external partners and financial institutions.
- Support payroll processing, benefits administration, and HSA plan management.
- Assist with internship program onboarding and offboarding, including background checks.
- Manage financial transactions, including wires and ACH transfers.
- Assist with compensation and benefits administration, including annual statements and insurance renewals.
- Provide accounting and tax support, including reviewing ledgers, preparing tax documents, and supporting quarterly and year-end closings.
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting efforts, as well as financial statement reviews.
Qualifications:
- Experience in finance, accounting, or payroll administration preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
