We are in the healthcare industry, specifically in San Francisco, California, offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Medical Front Desk Specialist. This role will be located on-site and will require the successful candidate to fulfil a range of duties including processing patient details, maintaining up-to-date records, and handling patient inquiries.
Responsibilities:
• Process patient details efficiently, ensuring all information is accurate.
• Answer inbound calls, providing excellent service and addressing patient inquiries.
• Utilize software programs such as Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, Dentrix Dental Software, Eaglesoft, and EHR SYSTEM for various tasks.
• Perform billing functions, ensuring all charges are accurate and properly documented.
• Monitor patient accounts and ensure all information is current and accurate.
• Create and maintain charts and graphs to effectively track patient data.
• Check in patients, providing a welcoming and efficient experience.
• Handle any patient-related issues or inquiries, escalating when necessary.
• Ensure all patient records are up-to-date and accurate.
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
• Proficiency in using healthcare software such as Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, Dentrix Dental Software, Eaglesoft, and EHR System.
• Ability to effectively answer and manage inbound calls.
• Experience in performing billing functions accurately and efficiently.
• Skilled in creating and interpreting charts and graphs.
• Capability to efficiently check patients in and out.
