We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Litigation Attorney located in downtown San Diego. In this role, you will be tasked with managing multiple active cases, which often involve numerous plaintiffs. As part of your duties, you will be expected to engage with clients, prepare for trials, and travel occasionally for depositions and trials.

Responsibilities of Role:

o  Firm has 20 active [contingency] cases, mostly mass torts (not class action), often over 100 plaintiffs. Some cases take 2-3 years, this is a long-game.

o  Taking and defending depositions in-person, via Zoom, and occasionally out of town

o  Participating in hearings (most via Zoom, some in-person)

o  Preparing for trial

o  Drafting motions and discovery – responses and requests

o  Conducting inspections in-person

o  Meeting with clients

·      Billable requirement: None!

1.      5+ years of litigation experience (ideally more)

2.      Must have taken and defended depositions and prepared for trial

3.      Willingness to travel for trial once or twice a year (sometimes requires relocating for a month or two!) and occasionally traveling for depos. Willingness to work on-site in downtown San Diego daily.
