Our construction supply client is seeking a Payroll Specialist with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join their team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring accurate and efficient payroll processing, managing various accounting functions, and supporting onboarding/offboarding-related activities.

     

    Payroll Processing and Management:

    • Handle end-to-end payroll processing for approximately 200 nonunion employees in California and Washington State.

    • Manage payroll data entry, adjustments, and deductions accurately and on time.

    • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

    • Oversee post-to-GL procedures to maintain accurate financial records.

    • Manage 401(k) and cafeteria plan administration, including employee enrollments and plan compliance.

    • Coordinate annual benefits enrollment and communications to employees.


    HR and Compliance:

    • Facilitate drug testing processes and ensure compliance with related policies.

    • Process and manage LOA and Workers Compensation requests.

    • Maintain accurate and organized employee records.

    • Utilize ADP Workforce Now for payroll processing and reporting.

    • Ensure data accuracy within the ADP system.
