What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Litigation Attorney, you’ll be instrumental in handling a variety of insurance coverage cases, including but not limited to:
- Representing clients in insurance defense and coverage litigation.
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Conducting legal research and analysis related to insurance coverage issues.
- Managing the discovery process, including written discovery, depositions, and evidence preparation.
- Working alongside senior attorneys and partners to prepare for mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
What You Bring:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience, specifically in insurance defense and/or coverage work. Attorneys with more experience are also encouraged to apply as the firm is flexible and willing to tailor the salary to fit qualifications.
- Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school; active membership in the California State Bar.
- Skills: Exceptional legal research, writing, and organizational skills; proficiency in managing cases through all stages of litigation.
- Client-Centered Mindset: Strong communication abilities to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
