Shantel Poole with Robert Half is on the hunt for a meticulous Accounts Payable Clerk to become a part of her client's team. In this role, you will be entrusted with the task of handling customer applications, managing precise customer records, and addressing customer inquiries. You will also be tasked with overseeing customer accounts and taking relevant action when needed.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately and efficiently handle the processing of customer credit applications.
• Ensure the maintenance of precise customer credit records.
• Regularly monitor customer accounts and take necessary action based on the account status.
• Take charge of the account reconciliation process to ensure all financial records are accurate.
• Manage the accounts payable function, ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded.
• Organize and carry out check runs to ensure timely payment of invoices.
• Take responsibility for coding invoices to ensure they are accurately classified in the financial system.
• Handle data entry tasks related to the accounts payable function.
• Be involved in the processing of invoices to ensure they are paid in a timely manner.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks for financial management and reporting purposes.
