We have an exciting opportunity for a Litigation Associate to join our team located in Roseville, California. The focus of the role will be on civil litigation, with an emphasis on construction defect litigation, real estate litigation, business litigation, medical malpractice litigation, personal injury litigation, and employment litigation. This role also involves working collaboratively with partners across multiple offices on a variety of cases.

Responsibilities

• Utilize case management software for efficient and effective management of cases.

• Communicate regularly with clients, carriers, and opposing counsel to provide updates and report on case progress.

• Conduct discovery, including depositions, to gather necessary information for case development.

• Draft and file pleadings and handle law and motion matters.

• Appear in court as required for case proceedings.

• Attend site inspections as necessary for case development.

• Strong skills in Document Management for seamless organization and retrieval of case-related documents.

• Experience in Briefing to provide succinct summaries of complex legal matters.

• Extensive knowledge in Civil Litigation procedures and regulations.

• Exceptional skills in Complaint Handling to resolve client issues efficiently and professionally.

• Prior Civil Litigation Experience is required for comprehensive understanding of the litigation process.

• Proficiency in Discovery procedures to gather and process evidence effectively.

• Experience in handling Depositions to gather testimonies from witnesses and involved parties.
