    Responsibilities

    • Review fund documentation and portfolio company transaction documents to understand terms to ensure proper reporting and analysis.
    • Responsible for valuation spreadsheets.
    • Assist with the portfolio company management to obtain financial information.
    • Assist in annual preparation of audited financial statements.
    • Calculate and manage capital calls for management fees, fund expenses and investments.
    • Assist in preparation of tax returns and supporting scheduled for funds.
    • Build spreadsheet models and analyses, including performance analyses


    Qualifications

    • 5+ years of work experience, with 3 years of valuation experience with Venture Capital/Private Equity Funds.
    • Expert Excel and financial modeling skills
    • Willingness to handle complex projects
    • Strong accounting/bookkeeping skills with working knowledge of GAAP and cash basis accounting
    • Big 4 audit and/or tax experience is a huge plus
    • CPA, CFA (or in process) is good to have
