We are on the lookout for a diligent Assistant Controller to join our team in the Telecom Services industry. The position is based in Rancho Cucamonga, California, where you will play an integral role in handling various financial transactions within our organization. The Assistant Controller will be instrumental in maintaining internal controls, managing the general ledger, and preparing financial statements. Responsibilities:
• Assist in the development of short-term and long-term corporate plans
• Oversee the management of employee stock ownership plans (ESOP)
• Execute accounting tasks related to affiliate incidents
• Maintain and reconcile accounts by preparing journal entries
• Manage cash flow and bonding capacity within the company
• Collaborate with different departments for the advancement of the accounting department
• Facilitate sales tax data preparation for tax reporting purposes
• Monitor and review financial transactions for accuracy and compliance
• Prepare monthly and annual reconciliations, financial reports, and statements
• Work closely with insurance agents for risk management purposes
• Manage key performance indicators and sales commissions
• Ensure timely investigation and clearance of reconciling items
• Assist with budgetary forecasting and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is necessary
• Solid understanding of Accounting Functions
• Expertise in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proven experience in Auditing
• Ability to manage and maintain the General Ledger
• Experience in Construction Accounting is preferred
• Basic knowledge of Construction would be beneficial
• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics NAV is a must
