    We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Logistics Specialist in Plano, Texas. This role primarily involves managing the sales order execution process, coordinating shipping activities, and contributing to supply chain operations in a dynamic environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the complete sales order execution process for specific customer accounts.
    • Handle the scheduling and confirmation of inbound and outbound shipments.
    • Collaborate with third-party logistics providers to ensure smooth shipping operations.
    • Update our ERP system with accurate and current shipment statuses and relevant documents.
    • Source cost-efficient delivery options for both incoming and outgoing shipments.
    • Work closely with the Accounts Payable team to rectify any discrepancies in vendor bills for freight.
    • Generate a supply plan for specific products based on analysis of historical demand and sales forecast data.
    • Work in tandem with the Operations Team to discover and implement process improvements and cost-saving measures in the transportation function.
    • Manage continuous improvement initiatives pertaining to the supply chain operations function.
    • Maintain an accurate record of all inbound and outbound delivery appointments.
    • Possess a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.

    • At least three years of experience working in logistics or a similar field.

    • Demonstrated proficiency in logistics and supply chain management.

    • Must be experienced in using NetSuite or similar ERP software.

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities are required.

    • Must have strong organizational and multitasking skills.

    • Experience in transportation and warehouse management is desirable.

    • Familiarity with international logistics regulations and procedures is a plus.

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.

    • Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is required.

    • Must be able to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.

    • Should possess strong negotiation skills to deal with vendors and suppliers.

    • Knowledge of safety and compliance standards in logistics is needed.

    • Must be detail-oriented and able to identify errors in logistical processes and documentation.

    • Ability to adapt to changing situations and manage high-stress situations is essential.
