We are seeking a motivated Junior Buyer to join our clients procurement team in a manufacturing environment. This temp-to-hire position is perfect for candidates looking to gain hands-on purchasing experience and grow within the supply chain field. Experience with SAP is preferred, but not required.
Hybrid role with multiple remote days offered every week.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in purchasing raw materials, components, and supplies to meet production demands.
- Create and track purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
- Maintain vendor relationships, communicate order status, and resolve supply issues.
- Utilize SAP (preferred) or other ERP systems to manage procurement data.
- Monitor inventory levels and support cost-saving initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including production, logistics, and accounting.
- Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and industry standards.
- 1-3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain, preferably in manufacturing.
- SAP experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other procurement tools.
