    We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Billing Clerk in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is within the industry of finance and accounting and involves maintaining accuracy and efficiency in customer credit applications and records. The position also requires interaction with various internal teams and the management of ticket resolution.

    Responsibilities:

    • Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner.
    • Maintain and update customer credit records regularly.
    • Resolve customer inquiries and discrepancies effectively.
    • Monitor customer accounts and take corrective action as necessary.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and complete ticket information.
    • Handle ticket management, including identifying incomplete tickets and taking corrective action.
    • Communicate with internal teams to clarify ticket details and resolve issues.
    • Ensure all steps in the ticket closure process are completed and issues are resolved before closure.
    • Provide feedback and support to team members to improve processes.
    • Use Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and other necessary software proficiently for data entry and other tasks.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook
    • Experience with the 'About Time' billing system
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
    • Experience in closing billing cycles
    • Proficiency in 10-key typing skills
    • General computer skills and familiarity with Windows Environment
    • Experience using a ticketing system for issue tracking and resolution
    • Ability to take corrective action when necessary
    • Ability to work effectively with internal teams
    • Maintains a detail oriented demeanor in all interactions
    • Ability to meet or exceed performance targets
    • Experience with photocopying and scanning documents
    • Training experience is a plus
    • Must have a strong understanding of the billing process
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
