This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial reports, preparing financial statements, assisting the month end close process, analyzing financial data, assist with treasury management activities, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. The successful candidate for this role will have excellent leadership abilities, sharp analytical skills, command of the month end process, excellent time management experience, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Major Responsibilities

·      Implement revenue generating control systems

·      Process accounts payable/receivable transactions

·      Assist with bank deposits

·      Cash Management

·      Variance Analysis

·      Oversee the month end close process

·      Create credit memos

·      Bank Reconciliations

·      Prepare financial reports/statements

·      Ensure compliance with GAAP

 The ideal Senior Accountant will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.

Other requirements for the Senior Accountant role include and are not limited to:

·      5+ years accounting or finance experience

·      Portfolio Accounting preferred

·      Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

·      Yardi preferred
