We are offering an employment opportunity for a Human Resource Generalist in the Chemicals Manufacturing industry based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a Human Resource Generalist, you will be expected to manage various responsibilities in support of the Human Resource team, including employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and additional Human Resource projects.
What you get to do every single day:
• Handle recruitment tasks such as resume screening, interview coordination, and candidate interviews
• Collaborate with management and headquarters team for offer letters
• Responsible of onboarding and orientation tasks for new employees
• Respond promptly to employee inquiries and questions through various communication channels
• Oversee performance management and implement disciplinary action plans when necessary
• Manage attendance tracking for union and non-union workers
• Participate in grievance meetings and record meeting minutes
• Conduct employee investigations as required
• Oversee additional Human Resource related tasks and projects as needed
Other requirements for the Human Resource Generalist position include and are not limited to:
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a Human Resource Generalist role or similar within the Chemicals Manufacturing industry
• Proficiency in using ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
• Knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
• Experience with Ceridian and Dayforce HRIS systems
• Familiarity with benefit functions in a Human Resource context
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proven track record in ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies
• Strong experience in handling Employee Relations
• Understanding of Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) procedures and regulations
