As an Accounting Clerk your Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Efficiently and accurately process a wide range of financial transactions, such as payments, reimbursements, and invoices.
• Ensure financial records are kept up to date and accurate across all databases and accounting systems.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis, ensuring all data is accurate and reconciled.
• Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive financial data and client information.
• Verify and reconcile financial assistance packets, ensuring all information is complete and correct.
• Monitor and update records for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Support the month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
• Adhere to all organizational policies, financial regulations, and ethical standards.
• Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and records.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations by maintaining necessary documents like W-9s.
• Maintain and review program policies annually to ensure compliance with funding requirements.

The ideal Accounting Clerk candidate will have:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred
• Prior experience in an accounting clerk role is a plus.
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required.
• Must have experience with Accounts Payable (AP).
• Should be skilled in handling Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Experience in Billing is necessary.
• Proficiency in Data Entry is required.
• Must be able to perform Invoice Processing effectively.
• Mastery of Microsoft Excel is essential.
• Experience with Oracle is a significant advantage.
• Knowledge of QuickBooks is required.
