    We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor in the retail industry. Located in PARKER, Colorado, this role is integral to the financial structure of our organization. As an Accounting Manager/Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing financial programs, supervising personnel, maintaining financial record systems, and contributing to strategic business initiatives.

    Responsibilities:
    • Manage financial programs and support information systems within the accounting department, ensuring budgeting, revenue receipt, and fund expenditure are handled appropriately.
    • Supervise personnel including work allocation, training, and problem resolution, while motivating the team to achieve peak productivity and performance.
    • Maintain financial record systems in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
    • Implement the processing of revenues (accounts receivable), expenditures (accounts payable), payroll, and general ledger, ensuring compliance with regulations and procedures.
    • Track assets and liabilities, and initiate bank transactions such as ACH, EFT, wire payments, and intercompany transfers.
    • Coordinate the preparation of financial statements, reports, special analyses, and information reports for senior leadership.
    • Assist in bank audits and back-up for payroll processing.
    • Responsible for cross-training of each department position and ability to back-up each position as needed.
    • Provide support and progress reports to business unit managers and senior leadership in planning initiatives, through management and financial information analysis.
    • Assist in the implementation of strategic business and operational plans, projects, programs, and systems in conjunction with managers and leadership.
    • Supervise accounting personnel, which includes work allocation and review, training, problem resolution, and performance evaluations.

    Skills required:
    • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, ERP Solutions, and Great Plains (GPAC)
    • Deep understanding of Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Auditing, and Billing Functions
    • Familiarity with Sage 100
    • Proficient in Accounting Software Systems
    • Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services
    • Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
    • Knowledge in ERP Solutions
    • Proficiency in Great Plains (GPAC) software
    • Ability to handle various Accounting Functions
    • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
    • Experience in Auditing
    • Familiarity with Billing Functions
    • Proficiency in Sage 100 software
    • Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role in the retail industry
    • Strong communication and leadership skills
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
    • CPA certification is preferred
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
