We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Sr. Engineer based in Orlando, Florida. As a Sr. Engineer, your role will be pivotal in the development and engineering of our systems, particularly concerning data extracts, transformation, migration, and uploads. You will leverage your expertise in SQL development in Windows and RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) environments and your knowledge of food & beverage supply chain technology.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement data mappings, extracts, transformations, data migration, and uploads using modern software development paradigms.
• Configure supply chain technology for business use and ensure its optimal performance.
• Handle SQL and script programming, validation, testing, and debugging of applications after data loads.
• Gather reporting requirements, design reports, and develop reports for business use.
• Contribute to agile ceremonies, creating stories in JIRA backlogs.
• Review and write code that meets set quality gates.
• Update and create documentation for reproducible data loading and configuration.
• Collaborate with other technical and testing groups in the organization.
• Coordinate team members in identifying the root-cause of problems and resolving issues.
• Recommend improvements to processes, technology, and interfaces that improve the effectiveness of the team.
• Must possess strong skills in Documentation and Reporting.
• Proven proficiency in Quality and Design is required.
• Excellent skills in Report Writing and Forecasting are mandatory.
• Must have a solid background in Engineering.
• Exceptional Communication Skills are essential.
• Proficiency in SQL and Oracle is required.
• Experience with Cloud Technologies is a must.
• Must demonstrate excellent Time Management skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies is required.
• Must have knowledge of Configuration Management.
• Experience in Migration processes is essential.
• Must have strong Programming skills.
• Proficiency in Windows OS is required.
• Knowledge in Supply Chain Logistics is a plus.
• Degree in Computer Sciences or related field is required.
• Must be proficient in R Code.
• Willingness to work Onsite is essential.
• Experience with JIRA is a plus.
• Ability to Create Dashboards is required.
• Must be proficient in SQL Server.
• Experience in creating Validation Plans is necessary.
