    We are in search of a Director of Accounting to lead our manufacturing operations in Lincoln, Nebraska. The individual will hold a key role overseeing a range of accounting, treasury, and financial reporting functions while working closely with our VP Finance.

    Responsibilities:
    • Oversee the creation, maintenance, and updating of financial reports, including P& L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
    • Develop and maintain corporate financial reporting and ERP systems, contributing to planning and budgeting efforts.
    • Ensure the timely consolidation of financial results, working effectively with accounting managers and corporate accounting staff.
    • Liaise with external auditors, managing the reporting and legal filings required.

    • Support treasury operations, optimizing liquidity and managing relationships with the company’s banks.
    • Adhere to and ensure the organization follows all corporate and required accounting policies and procedures, standardizing these processes across different locations.
    • Report financials to parent company, maintaining the punctuality of a public company.
    • Utilize accounting software systems and CRM to streamline accounting functions, including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
    • Apply knowledge of the manufacturing industry's accounting close process, cost accounting, and full cycle accounting practices.
    • Engage in year-end close, audits, financial statement preparation, and reporting, adhering to GAAP accounting principles.

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role within the manufacturing industry.

    • Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems.

    • Experience with ADP - Financial Services.

    • Familiarity with robust enterprise wide ERP systems.

    • Comprehensive understanding and hands-on experience with Accounting Functions.

    • Ability to manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

    • Proven expertise in Auditing.

    • Knowledge and experience in Budget Processes.

    • Understanding of the unique accounting needs of a Manufacturing Company.

    • Prior years of experience working within the Manufacturing/Production Industry.
