    We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the gas industry, based in OMAHA, Nebraska. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity. Your primary duties will involve auditing and processing invoices, maintaining records, and handling inquiries related to accounts payable.

    Responsibilities:
    • Efficiently process invoices for payment
    • Routinely perform audits on employee expense reports to ensure compliance with company policies
    • Prepare weekly check runs as part of the financial operations
    • Answer and resolve queries on the accounts payable help line from both internal and external sources
    • Maintain and file departmental correspondence and checks in an orderly manner
    • Analyze invoices to ensure compliance with use tax
    • Manage and monitor customer accounts, taking necessary actions when needed
    • Utilize Oracle and Microsoft Excel for data entry and account reconciliation
    • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned, ensuring the smooth operation of the accounts payable function
    • Proven experience in the Gas industry
    • Demonstrated proficiency in Account Reconciliation
    • Extensive knowledge and experience in Accounts Payable (AP)
    • Ability to conduct Check Runs efficiently
    • Experienced in Coding Invoices
    • Proficient in Data Entry tasks
    • Skilled in Invoice Processing
    • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
    • Experience with Oracle is required
