Key Responsibilities:

• Represent and defend clients in a wide range of civil matters, tailored to your area of expertise.
• Conduct legal research, prepare motions, draft pleadings, and manage discovery processes.
• Develop case strategies and provide high-quality legal counsel.
• Appear in court for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure excellent client service and case outcomes.
• Maintain frequent communication with clients to keep them updated on case progress and strategy.

Qualifications:

• Active membership and in good standing with the California State Bar.
• Minimum 2+ years of defense experience in any practice area (e.g., general liability, labor & employment, medical malpractice, construction defect, etc.).
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Confidence and ability to manage a diverse caseload and work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building client relationships.
• A proactive mindset and dedication to delivering outstanding results.
