SENIOR ACCOUNTANT - ACQUISITION ORIENTED COMPANY IN PEACHTREE CORNERS

As a Senior Accountant, your duties will include financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Your responsibilities in this role:
- Engage in various department-wide initiatives
- Produce error-free monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
- Adherence to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
- Provide monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
- When working with business partners, ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls. Additionally, be able to provide support on special requests
- Provide Balance Sheet account reconciliations
- Present analysis on financial results such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc.
- Contribute to coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
- Coordinate Ad-hoc projects as necessary
- Bachelors in Accounting, Finance or other Business related field of study
- CPA or CPA path
- 3+ years of overall general accounting experience
- Good understanding of Microsoft Dynamics SL
- Earlier work involving Microsoft Excel
- Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment
- Prior experience in a public accounting environment is highly valued
- Outstanding analytical, quantitative and social skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects within strict deadlines
- Exceptional time management skills preferred
- Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
