    We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Senior Data Analyst in New York. This role will primarily focus on data management and strategic business activities. You will be required to perform in-depth data analysis, create datasets from various sources, perform data mining, consult with business stakeholders, and present reports for business review and planning. This position is within the data management industry and will be based in our New York office.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive data analysis for both projects and ongoing data quality initiatives.
    • Create datasets from a diverse range of sources to enhance data management initiatives and processes.
    • Execute data mining on extensive datasets to augment data management quality improvement initiatives.
    • Consult with business stakeholders to document business requirements in order to cater to client needs.
    • Develop and recommend business solutions through thorough research and data analysis.
    • Utilize creativity and process improvement skills to improve existing processes and create new ones in accordance with data governance best practices.
    • Present reports comprising analysis and interpretation for business review and planning.
    • Implement Data Management lifecycle toolsets.
    • Work with various project management methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, SAFe.
    • Use project management organizational or visualization tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Asana, Monday.com, Trello, SmartSheet, Wrike, or Rally.
    • Implement master data and/or reference data programs or toolsets.
    • Proficiency in Planning, Research, Review, and Project Management.
    • Experience in Consulting and Data Analysis.
    • Strong knowledge of SQL and familiarity with other data management systems.
    • Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders.
    • Knowledge of Best Practices in the field of Data Analysis.
    • Proven track record of Process Improvement.
    • A degree in Computer Sciences or a related field is preferred.
    • Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
    • Ability to prepare Business Requirement Documents.
    • Creativity in solving complex data problems.
    • Familiarity with Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
    • Experience in Data Management, including preparing datasets for analysis.
    • Proficiency in Visualization tools and Statistical Analysis.
    • Experience with SAS, Data Mining, and ensuring Data Quality.
