Responsibilities:
• Administer bi-weekly payroll operations
• Manage and update payroll information by gathering, calculating, and inputting data
• Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
• Handle time off accruals and ensure accuracy of records
• Respond to inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns
• Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role in the HR department.
• Proficient in using payroll software.
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of payroll processes and procedures.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail for accurate data entry.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities to handle payroll discrepancies.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field is preferred
