We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Financial Project Manager in the non-profit industry, located in New York. This role primarily involves process improvement and reengineering, strategic planning, and transformational work to support various business lines.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage process improvement and reengineering initiatives.
• Develop strategic/transformational plans and identify key milestones to achieve project objectives.
• Collaborate with business lines to understand their current structure and efficiency.
• Identify and implement appropriate toll gates for project control and risk management.
• Oversee transformations involving people, tools, and processes.
• Understand and apply various methodologies including waterfall and agile to project management.
• Utilize accounting software systems and CRM for efficient project management.
• Engage in auditing, billing functions, and budget processes as part of the project management role.
• Use business systems such as ADP - Financial Services, Concur, and About Time to support project execution.
• Handle accounting functions associated with project financial management.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Knowledge in CRM
• Experience with About Time is desirable
• Understanding of Accounting Functions
