We are seeking a Payroll Supervisor/Manager/Director to join our team in Natick Massachusetts. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all operations of the payroll department, processing payroll, maintaining precise records, and acting as the main point of contact for external entities regarding payroll matters.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the bi-weekly payroll processing to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Prepare and present the final payroll balancing report for approval by the Chief Financial Officer
• Keep detailed records for audit of payrolls, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
• Forecast cash projections, budgets, and prepare journal entries related to payroll and fringe benefits
• Develop and implement effective procedures and internal controls to enhance the efficiency of payroll operations
• Act as the main contact for the Office of State Comptroller, facilitating effective communication and cooperation
• Serve as a link between the payroll functions and other state agencies, ensuring smooth operations and coordination
• Provide comprehensive support to the community on payroll and benefit matters, addressing queries and providing solutions
• Utilize Payroll Processing systems, report creation tools, and software such as Excel, PeopleSoft, HR/CMS and MMARS to manage payroll operations
• Oversee the payroll department, fostering a team-focused work environment and guiding the detail-oriented development of team members.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Payroll Supervisor/Manager/Director role
• Proficiency with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
• Experience with 401k - RRSP Administration
• Strong knowledge of accounting functions
• Ability to conduct audits
• Expertise in managing benefit functions
• Experience with Payroll - Union
• Proficiency with Oracle PeopleSoft
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft
• Experience in Benefits Payroll
• Familiarity with Domestic Payroll
• Experience with Full Cycle Payroll
• Proficiency in Payroll
• Experience managing Payroll for 101 - 500 Employees
• Expertise in handling Payroll - Garnishments
• Experience managing Payroll for over 500 Employees
• Ability to manage Payroll for under 100 Employees
• Strong knowledge of Payroll Functions
• Proven track record in Payroll Management
• Familiarity with Payroll Taxes
• Experience with processing bi-weekly Payroll
• Proficiency in processing biweekly Payroll
• Ability to process Payroll
• Experience in reconciling Payroll.
