We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Compliance Officer in Nashua, New Hampshire. In this role, you will primarily focus on overseeing the implementation of civil rights requirements in line with Federal, State, and local regulations. Role: Compliance Coordinator
Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 + great benefits!
Hours: 8:00am - 3:30pm
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the implementation of civil rights requirements at a high level.
• Develop strategies to prevent discriminatory practices and harassment.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local civil rights regulations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for Title IX coordination within the company.
• Implement measures to prevent discrimination on various grounds including sex, race, creed, religion, color, national origin, experienced or military status, sexual orientation, gender expression or identity, or disability.
• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of implemented strategies and make necessary adjustments.
• Handle inquiries and complaints related to civil rights and discrimination.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all activities related to civil rights compliance.
• Continuously update knowledge and understanding of civil rights and discrimination laws.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, legal studies, or related field required (Masters or JD is a plus).
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in compliance, human resources, legal affairs, or related field required
- In-depth knowledge of civil rights laws and regulations at the Federal, State, and local level required.
- Experience working with Title IX required (even if it's a college class or having a high knowledge of it).
- Experience working in civil rights advocacy or related field preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to muti task in a fast-paced environment preferred.
