Opening for a Staff Accountant seeking a company they can grow in. The right Staff Accountant for this role is someone achievement-oriented and focused on their work.
The Staff Accountant will be over the following:
- Assist with the period-end close process by reviewing and completing assigned period-end functions while also performing reconciliations and maintaining documentation related to balance sheet accounts.
- Perform period over period and year over year variance analysis for expense accounts.
- Reconcile various balance sheet accounts on a periodic/quarterly basis.
- Prepare period end journal entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare reports for external departments
- Ability to manage high volumes of detailed financial work while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience in accounting, with hands-on experience in general ledger, financial reporting, and bank reconciliations.
