- Enter, update, and maintain data in systems, spreadsheets, or databases efficiently and with a high degree of accuracy.
- Review data for accuracy and completeness, identifying and correcting errors or inconsistencies as needed.
- Conduct regular audits of entered data to ensure compliance with company policies and guidelines.
- Organize and maintain documentation, both physical and electronic, ensuring proper filing and accessibility.
- Work closely with team members and other departments to facilitate accurate data processing and resolve discrepancies.
- Generate reports and summaries based on processed data for internal and external use.
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and ensure data security protocols are followed.
- Identify outdated or duplicate information and assist with database cleanup and organization.
- Adjust to changing priorities or new software tools to meet deadlines and organizational needs.
- Identify system or process errors, escalating issues as needed to the appropriate teams.
- High school diploma or equivalent; advanced education or certifications may be a plus.
- Proven ability to type accurately and quickly (often at least 40-60 words per minute).
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail when inputting and verifying information.
- Familiarity with basic computer programs, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and data entry software.
- Ability to manage large quantities of information and maintain organized digital or physical filing systems.
- Ability to identify and correct data inconsistencies.
- Skill in prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to liaise with team members or clients if necessary.
- Ability to handle sensitive or proprietary information with discretion and professionalism.
- Previous experience in data entry or a similar administrative role may be required or preferred, depending on the job level.
